Coach Berrien recently combined his highly successful  Next Level Basketball Team & Academy with the Georgia Stars. His athletes and teams have always been known for their great individual fundamental skills and unselfish team play. Their "No Excuses/Never Quit" attitude have been his teams calling card in innumerable first place tournament finishes. Yet the ordained deacon and youth pastor has served his community well and was honored with the JCPenney Golden Rule Award for community service and the National Association of Christian Athletes sportsmanship winner.

Coach Berrien, the Head Boys Varsity coach @ Cumberland Christian Academy , the 2008 Region Champion, has been coaching for over 15 years in Georgia. He has worked with an uncountable number of student athletes, helping them transition from recreational to competitive AAU and High School ball. Several players have gone on to play college basketball at all levels, JUCO, NAIA, DII, & major DI.
